Snow Removal

THE CENTRAL SQUARE VILLAS SNOW REMOVAL POLICY 2025

In order to facilitate the snow removal process, the following guidelines are to be followed:

SNOW REMOVAL – During a snowfall event of 3 inches or more, our snow removal contractor will be clearing the community roadways, parking areas, driveways and walkways as soon as safely possible during/after a snow fall event of 3 inches or more. Clearing of the roadway is their first priority followed by driveways, parking areas and walkways. Snow removal will generally happen in the early morning hours and is anticipated to be finished by 7am. During a significant event, snow will be cleared as soon as safely possible. The snow removal crew will be returning to the community mid-morning/early afternoon for additional snow removal/cleanup as needed. Salting of the roadways will be done based on weather conditions. Owners are responsible for salting their driveways and walks.

During a snowfall event cars parked in the roadways during a daytime/early evening should be moved into your driveway so the snow removal contractor can properly clean the roadway. Vehicles should be parked all the way into the driveways to facilitate snow removal.

Snow removal throughout the community will be done with a variety of equipment – trucks with plows, snow blowers, shovels. Walks & areas in front of the garage will be cleared by shovel/snow blower where appropriate. No resident is guaranteed to have their driveway cleared exclusively by a snow blower. If there is a pet lead/leash near the front walk, please store them on the porch so it does not damage or interfere with snow removal equipment used on the walkway.

SEASONAL/WINTER PARKING-
Per the Town of Lancaster Winter Overnight Parking Ban – The winter parking ban is in effect from November 15 thru March 15 each year. Parking on all town roads is prohibited from 1 am until 7 am. There is no parking on any roadways within the community between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. from November 15th – April 15th in any year in compliance with this ban.

Any questions or concerns regarding this policy should be sent by e-mail to our Property Managers.
